Wright Laser Announces Name Change To Vitaldyne, Inc.,
Expands Medical Device Manufacturing Services
Waverly, Minnesota: Wright Laser, Inc. announced that it has changed its name to Vitaldyne, Inc. The company is a contract manufacturer specializing in the manufacture, assembly and packaging of medical devices and components.
"The name change was made", according to Mariellyn Kuske, president, "to better reflect the company's future course and expanded range of manufacturing capabilities. When we started the company in 1999, we primarily provided laser processing services. Through the last five years, we have grown and added new capabilities to produce complete assemblies as well as package them in Class 10,000 clean room facilities. We now have ISO 9001:2000 certification and are an FDA approved supplier of components to leading medical device manufacturers."
Vitaldyne manufactures implantable devices used in orthopedic, cardiac, urological and other surgical procedures. Components include parts for neurostimulation devices, spinal implants, medical instrumentation and more.
With ten laser precision laser processing systems, Vitaldyne also provides adhesive and solvent bonding, soldering, pad printing and packaging. Laser services include precision hole drilling as small as .0005 inch, welding and ablation. Laser marking capabilities include micro marking to .005 inch, large area Nd:YAG marking, serializing and batch coding for part traceability.
Vitaldyne's manufacturing experience includes processing a wide range of difficult to process materials such as titanium, platinum, stainless steel, Inconel, Haselloy, gold and Iridium. Non-metallic materials include Teflon, PVC, Acrylic, Delrin, PTFE and others.
The company offers high volume manufacturing and engineering services as well as rapid prototyping. Vitaldyne employs 20 technicians in its 5000 square foot plant facilities located in Waverly, Minnesota.
Founding officers of the company are: Mariellyn Kuske, president, Mike Kuske, vice president and general manager, and Michelle Zuelzke, vice president sales.
The company is Hub Zone certified and has woman owned (SWOB) status.
